White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Faconladir is a typical White Dragon in that he specializes in healing magicks. However, he is more adept at it than most and is busy throughout the day, dealing with each of his patients in turn with a special knack for detail. Many dragons, even wild ones, send their hatchlings over to him when they are sick or need to have an errant tooth removed because he is very gentle with them, breathing a sort of special flame over them to deaden the pain, then telling an amusing story during painful parts, so that they won't notice the pain. He feels keenly for all living creatures, and cannot stand to see dragon tamers kill unwanted eggs. For this purpose he created a small adoption area, where dragon owners may place unwanted eggs so that others may claim them.
