Ice Dragons are fierce predators who hunt using their extremely cold breath. The breath of an ice dragon can freeze its prey solid in seconds. The body of an ice dragon is so cold that icicles will form along its skin no matter the outside temperature.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Sapphirseph FrostFlame (after the gemstone: Sapphire) joined the clan cave as the 163th member, arriving into the security and safety of all the clan dragons as a hatchling, having already shed his shell and crawled out to greet the wide open world around him. He is a bold, powerful dragon whose strength of character and purpose ring true with each and every breath he takes. He seems to make it his personal responsibility to ensure the safety of the Mystal Clan dragons, and each night, as the sun slithers from its perch and sinks below the sky line, he soars to the top of the highest mountain peak to sound his alarm. Highlighted by the dimming light, he projects his frosty flame in a roar of warning to any, far and wide, who would seek harm against his chosen protectorates! It is a blood curdling sound, sending chills down the spine of many poor, innocent passersby each eve, yet, he does not relent, content in the knowledge that all will be well for yet another day!
