Muriela is, oddly enough, one of the most civilized of the dragons (and that term is used loosely when including her), and also rumored to be one of, if not the most intelligent of them. Because of the tendency of most of the smaller dragons to mistake her for prey, she often stays holed up in a hidden hen house made especially for her by her owner, reading poetry and prose. Since Durulan is herbivorous by nature, the two became friends very quickly, though Durulan is sometimes unable to follow what she is saying once she goes off on a rant or ramble about an author's work.
