Sunstone Dragons are named after the orb on their tails, which resembles the gem of the same name. Their social structure resembles a lion pride, with one dominant male and several females banded together with their young. They prefer arid climates where they can blend in and dig for minerals and gemstones that they not only collect, but eat. The more gems they consume, the larger their tail stone grows. They are an aggressive breed; it is not uncommon to see two males battling for mates and territory.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

A powerful member of Solarius', the original Sun dragon, royal guard. She is strong, rowdy, and hot headed, and enjoys fighting alongside her sister dragons under the command of the head male. Despite her temper she gets along well with others of her kinds and prefers to spend most of her time fighting and training than socializing and other things.

She was born to a normal family of Sunstones and just like all other Solar dragons respected and looked up to their leader Solarius. But when the shadow dragons attacked the Solar Empire's capital throwing the whole Empire into turmoil, her life changed. She found herself alongside other from different kingdoms as mothers and children fled for their lives spreading around into hiding. Since then she has sworn to help the Solar Empire and during a raid on the town her family hid in she snuck away from then and headed for the city where she claimed to be an orphan and was taken in by another family and trained in the Capital joining the army.
