Black Tea Dragons have small scent glands on the underside of their wing arm that release a pleasant scent. Though many creatures enjoy being in the vicinity of Black Tea dragons, the scent is intended to draw in swarms of butterflies. Though Black Tea dragons are full sized dragons, these insects are the mainstay of their diet.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Luex has a very soft nature, never too loud or energetic, and everything she does seems to have a purpose. It is because of this that many dragons feel they can trust her, and will often go to her for advice, or to confide in her something they'd be unwilling to tell any other dragon. For this reason she is also one of the most dangerous dragons inside the castle, as there is hardly anything she doesn't know. One wrong move against her and their darkest secrets could be revealed to everyone inside the castle. The Castle Master has often tried to force her into revealing the occupants' secrets, but has failed each time. Bribery, demanding, and even some torture couldn't get the Black Tea to spill what she knew. However, this hasn't left her without constant reminders, and the scars that don her beautiful pink scales are a constant reminder of her rebellious ways against the Castle Master.
