Nocturne Dragons are a strange breed. Whenever light strikes their bodies, they are frozen in whatever position they were in. This leaves them vulnerable and they rely on camouflage to keep themselves safe. They are often mistaken for statues when in this frozen state, but Nocturne dragons do not actually turn into stone. Rather, they merely idle until the sun goes down. At night, these dragons come to life, proving themselves to be powerful fliers, although little else is known about their true behavior.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Quite the dusk-hunter by nature, Urmoxis spends his nights prowling for targets. Often, a couple of cows go missing or several chickens mysteriously vanish before the next morning. Despite this, however, it is his "day habits" that have earned him a little more interest. Just before the sun's hours, he usually takes an intimidating pose to help ward away any who wish to come after him. He performs this pose right in the middle of his favorite place to rest : his owner's gardens. Several passerby think he is merely one of the statues among the flowers, and more than once has there been an art collector who tried purchase the dragon for his own display. Even with his fame growing bit by bit, there are those braver(or less informed) who make mocking faces or taunt the "statue". This is greatly discouraged, though, lest Urmoxis make them the first in line for his next night raid.
