Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

As an egg no one really thought Hornlike was going to hatch, not ever her parents. All the eggs had hatched before her, so everyone gave up faith. Leaving her in the cold, dark desert, they left for their annual migration. After a few days, a Nebula dragon was walking around. It had found Hornlike, and decided to adopt it. The egg hatched instantly, as if it knew it was called to be in the right space. As a hatchling Hornlike always got lost, but flew with the wind back to Glowla, the Nebula. Soon  Hornlike and Glowla had to part, their migrations going in different directions. They left each other, only to find themselves back again, years later. Hornlike had hatchlings, and Glowla already loved them. Glowla and Hornlike meet every 50 years, loving the time they spend together.
