Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has brightly colored fins on its back.

And look! It has grown larger fins! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

He who Stands on One Leg walks, or hops, along with his band of three, who call themselves "The forever." Together, he, Imancei, and Frost wander the many miles of surrounding ground in search of hatchlings in need.

He who Stands on One Leg is, interestingly, the smartest, although he has a lot of quirks. For one, the most obvious, he refuses to walk using his hind legs. This oddness began when he first met Harpun and Lepun, lindwurms. He couldn't imagine how horrible it must be to not have hind legs, so he vowed never to use his back legs again out of respect for the lindwurms.
