Sunrise Dragons are closely related to sunset dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunrise Dragons prefer to live in large groups and enjoy basking in the early morning sun. They are usually most active in the morning, and go to sleep in the early evening.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

As her name implies, Archj is a very creative dragon who loves to begin things. She never finishes anything she starts, relying on Teleiwtjs to do this for her. The dawn is a promise to her of new beginnings, and she revels in the sight of the sun rising over the horizon, pushing back the darkness of night, laying open all mysteries. Though she is a dragon of deeply held philosophical and spiritual beliefs, she does not care to discuss them at length; she prefers to plant the seeds of ideas in others and watch them grow. She appreciates beauty, and she is driven to create new things to be appreciated by others. Though they are active at different times, she is the perfect compliment and mate for Teleiwtjs, as she begins the creation by laying an egg while he finishes it by tending it. This is not to say she abandons her children--each day is new, so every day is another chance to raise her children, taking what Teleiwtjs perfected and creating new and better teachings for her young.
