Guardian Dragons have large shields on the end of their tails. Although the shields appear to be heavy, they are light, yet nearly unbreakable. Guardian Dragons use their tail-shields, as well as their wings, to deflect attacks and protect others. Often, they will guard the eggs and hatchlings of a nest while others are away. They are generally peaceful, and will not retaliate unless necessary. They have no need to forage or hunt, as they are fed by those they protect.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Strong and sturdy Isguardia obtained her name for obvious reasons. One thing that marks her as a unique individual of her kind is that while fond of physical challenges like all guardian dragons, Isguardia loves music with a passion. She has explored many ideas on how dragons can make music and while most have been failures she has acquired dragon sized drums and a dragon friendly flute from the wood elves she protects. Her closest ally in the dragon world is Turok as the territories they protect overlap at the edges, and on several occasions they have teamed up together to prevent particularly powerful foes from laying waste to the region. While the dragons themselves are on friendly terms the humans of the Mazza Hills and the elves of the Veradun Forest are not on the best of terms. Both sides have had violent acts of racism and just plain meanness. However both Isguardia and the elves would much rather deal with the humans than the advances of the trolls.
