Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s very festively colored.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Lockli and Efelna were on their way to the Winter Tribe, when they were accidentally dropped. Vivanna found the two eggs and raised them until the eggs hatched, then she named the two hatchlings; Lockli was named for the forest where the Undine lived and Efelna was named for her green color. Soon Lockli and Efelna were collected by the Winter Tribe, but Vivanna promised to stop by and visit them from time to time and has kept her promise. Efelna enjoys playing with the other winter hatchlings and can often be seen playing or dozing with Lockli, but she also is learning how to dance with the Ribbon Dancers.
