Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Araius is another of the cave's elder dragons. She is known to be quite stingy and has a very bad temper. Everyone in the cave knows not to mess with Arai. Araius has a very good friendship with Macii, and the two often take flights together to discuss the state of the dragons within the cave. She also has taken up the job of teaching the younger dragons the ways of the Earth.
