Pillow Dragons are covered in enormous amounts of fur affectionately referred to as fluff. Despite their deceivingly large size, they can still fly even with such tiny wings because their bodies are remarkably light. Pillow Dragons have a habit of sleeping for up to eighteen hours a day, waking only in short bursts. During their few waking hours, they take the time to hunt for prey. Once a pillow dragon becomes an adult, its fur grows very slowly. Pillow dragon fur is used to make very expensive and valuable cloth known as “dragon cashmere.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Axiniteph SoftenDown (after the gemstone: Axinite) joined the clan cave as its 144th member, a new and never before seen breed of carrot. It is said that, from time to time, the heavens gift the world with an evolutionary leap. Maybe because of the terribly long and difficult winter, perhaps just a fluke wrapped in the dawning blanket of the season of spring, Axiniteph entered the world, and the Mystal Clan, as one of the first of his kind. He is massive in size and stature, but by far, his most intriguing feature is certainly his layers of soft, fluffy fur which covers his body from tip to tail. Although he is capable of flight, his most joyous moments seem to be when the Clan Mother visits, for she spends hours enfolded within his haunches, combing through the never ending mountain of down and fuzz. At the end of such a session, the resulting heap which reaches near to the ceiling, is quietly carried off to be spun and woven into what has quickly become a remarkable fabric.
