Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. This hatchling is hard to see, but in the sunlight it displays brilliant colors.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Sundrop Esper was born in light of the dusk sunset, creating a small flare of light as she stretched her little body for the first time. She has decided to stay a baby her entire life, preserving her potential into a small crystal which is worn around her neck. Her omniscience is sometimes baffling, seeing as how new she is to this world.
