Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s clear that night is its favourite time.
And look! It has grown wings and turned red on its back! It must be close to maturing.
Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.
Dunnjinmazdur organizes roleplay games with his circle of friends. Each hatchling selects a character to play, such as a heroic dragon, a forest animal with special abilities, or even a two-legger. Dunnjinmazdur then explains the setting for their characters and asks what they do. Each hatchling then tells what his or her own character does while Dunnjinmazdur mediates. If they need to determine a random result, they toss marked, multifaceted stones on a flat surface and base the result on the marking that lands facing up. The hatchlings have so much fun with this that Dunnjinmazdur plans long, complicated adventure paths with difficult goals for them to achieve; a single campaign may last years.
