Waterhorse Dragons received their name due to their horse-like physique and endearing behavior. They are capable of surviving out of water, and when on land their skin secretes a gelatinous goo to retain moisture. However, their large paddle feet are better suited for swimming, and waterhorse dragons tend to move very awkwardly when on land. Waterhorses are very friendly dragons and enjoy playing with humans.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Warrior of the Ocean was abandoned by his horrible dragon parents the day he was laid. Luckily, that same day a kindly traveler named diumvewejovpt took him in and nurtured him to adulthod. When she decided to name him she pondered over it for a while, and then chose Warrior of the Ocean. They had grand adventures together. Today Warrior of the Ocean is living alongside diumvewejovpt and her many other dragons. He sometimes came with her to the cave to help her decide which baby dragons to help reach adulthood. Usually the ones Warrior of the Ocean picked out diumvewejovpt raised successfully. Sadly, no female dragon has come to realize how great Warrior of the Ocean was and to this day he is still looking for that one special dragon he was meant to be with.
