Sunbeam Drakes are the diurnal counterparts to Moonglow Drakes, their eggs having been laid during the daylight hours. They are around the size of a small dog, and while docile, can be flighty and easily startled. Most can be found high in treetops enjoying the bright sunlight, tucking themselves away at the first sign of a storm or impending nightfall. Sunbeam Drakes enjoy flying in the light of the sun, and their treetop dances are beautiful, dazzling, and serene.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

User Description

Even though she is naturally friendly, Itchy loves speed flying with Silo-Guardian. Sometimes, she likes to play with the little children in nearby villages, but the adults don't always agree. Because of the hostility of the older humans, Silo and Itchy came up with a routine. Silo would make the adults chase him faraway, while Itchy would spend at least half an hour with the children. These arrangements gave Silo his thrill of a chase, while Itchy gained popularity with the children. Without the love of the children, Itchy would go into a deep depression from feeling unloved. She is a bold energetic dragon who loves to play and spend her days in the bright sun.
