Pink Dragons are primarily herbivores and only eat meat during the mating season, when mates will exchange kills. When it is not breeding season, pink dragons spend most of their time incubating eggs and caring for their clan’s young. Due to their feminine color, it was traditionally thought that pink dragons were a strictly female breed, but this is not true.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Child's Play, or Valentine as he goes by, is an affectionate dragon. He's always around the hatchlings, nuzzling them or playing, and always sleeps with the eggs. He rarely strays away from the younger dragons, only to feed and breed. His personality is calm and docile for the most part, however if an intruder steps too close to the eggs, they may leave missing a limb. When asked, Valentine will speak to the eggs telepathically, influencing them to be of his gender. This power of him is amazing, but not to be overestimated. He knows and understands some hatchlings have a purpose for their gender, and will remain that way.
