Sophrosyne Dragons are a rare sight, typically making themselves known only to protect and heal the vulnerable. A visit from one serves as a reminder that kindness prevails, and that there’s always hope for positive change. While it is known that they possess the power to reverse botched spells, some claim they can even cure methodically-cast curses. This has never been formally documented, but these dragons have been seen arriving in the aftermath of violence, and the scars of tragedy seem to heal faster in their wake. The feathers of a Sophrosyne have thus become a symbol of perseverance and light in the face of darkness.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Brairis is named after a famous female poet named Brair, who sometimes helps Laura-Lana's clan with her wisdom.
Brairis on the other hand isn't known for his wisdom. He is peaceful and gentle by nature, so one would think he wouldn't be so eager to put himself into the middle of arguments that are about to get out of hand.
Luckily most of the time he manages to calm things down. But a few scales are missing from his tail, testament to his first failure. Ever since then, a group of guardian dragons follows him discreetly, ready to intervene if it looks as if he is in more trouble than he can handle.
