Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has bright blue eyes, and is as clumsy as any other hatchling, but it never seems to get injured.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Crystalized is a sweet little hatchling known for one peculiar trait. He is a vicious dancer. Other dragons don't believe there is such a thing as vicious dancing because it sounds absurd; yet when this little white hatchling hears some music and decides to "feel the beat" those around him always come out with bruises and scratches! The innocent bystanders never know how it happens, they are fine one instant and the next ambushed by a flailing white hatchling. When not dancing Crystalized is a perfectly amiable, if not self-less, hatchling. So after indiscriminately  claiming his dancefloor victims he heals them of their bumps with an inquiry of how they got such wounds. No one understands how he cannot realize the damage he causes and do their best to dissuade him from going to any cave parties.
