Cheese Dragons are not actually alive. They are enchanted items of food that act almost identically to dragons. They have no need to eat, but they must “live” in humid environments or they will dry out and harden.

Chiez knew that it (Chiez) was once a real live hatchling, who was abandoned by its parents and by its human owners. Having no one to take care of it, Chiez was at the verge of dying when a mysterious magical circle appeared from the sky and turned it to a cheese-like dragon. Chiez later found its own family in a small cave filled with other abandoned dragons. Chiez is somewhat serious and always wandering with its mind, thinking of many things about the world.
