Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Male Silvers hunt and eat meat. While not as beautiful or radiant as females, silver males possess better physical attributes, such as strength.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Silver Ryukotsusei was the first male silver to join the tribe. He is very wise for his age, and spends much of his time flying throughout the world. Sometimes in his travels, he brings home abandoned eggs or hatchlings for Rio to raise. He is a very loyal dragon, and has only one true mate. Though none of the other dragons realize that he is Abu Rawash's Twilight Protectors mate, he is solely devoted to her, and he is the only one that she accepts as an equal. He is very introverted and private about his thoughts and feelings, but is one on the most calm, gentle, and thoughtful dragons in the tribe. He has confidence issues in producing an heir to him, as he has yet to sire a silver egg.
