It was both a surprise and a dream that a pair of St. Valentines would come to live at the kingdom. She was named Cupid's Arrow of the Swamp by the Lady Mother who was inspired to do so after seeing the spade shape at the end of tail. Cupid was raised with extra care in the castle, surrounded by her valentine brethren. When she was old enough, she was taken to live in the orchards with the Sweetlings and the other St. Valentine. The Lady Mother, always worried for the young dragons she set up a mate that would also function as Cupid's protector. His name was On the Wings of Cupid. Besides fulfilling his duty as protector beautifully, not a day went by that wasn't filled her laughter and cheer.
