Stone Dragons have a tough outer covering made of a stone-like material. They eat rocks, using the minerals they contain for nourishment and to keep up their stone outer shell. They rarely move, and are the heaviest of all types of dragons. Although they have wings, indicating flight ability, no one has ever seen a stone dragon flying.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

A surprisingly vain creature for a beast that moves about only once a century, this female was determined that she, and only she, would be the center of attention. Of course, cutting an imposing figure as an immobile creature is rather tricky (whenever she tried posing in the middle of town squares, the pesky humans inevitably fled the area rather than admiring her awesome), and so she was left with only one option: to make her home in the middle of a vast desert, making her the only impressive rock figure around! Of course, this plan backfired when she ran into another stone dragon doing exactly the same thing, leading to an angry glaring match that lasted a full century. But staring so long at those rough, chiseled features had its effects on her, and now the two former arch enemies are madly in love, raising tiny vain rock babies in the middle of the sand.
