Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has long toes, and likes to wander around on lily pads.
And look! Its toes have grown longer and developed webbing! It must be close to maturing.
Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

One Who Can Walk On Water is not magic, he isn't any thing amazing either. He just has special webbing in between his toes allowing him to disburse his weight and thus walk on water. He much rather stay on the water cause not only can most of the other dragons not get to him, but with this webbing it is very hard for him to walk on land. His owner does everything she can to make him happy even creating a small pond near her home so he can stay close and safe.
