Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Hot-headed, even for a gray dragon it was assumed that Kai Ishi would never mate, let alone start an entire family line but whilst twirling through the sky and calling storms that displeased her she came upon an interesting statue of a dragon and out of curiousity investigated.

Settling behind the mass of stone she soon discovered that it wasn't a statue, but a stone dragon, and quickly lost interest. The stone dragon however did not and every day Kai Ishi would find the same 'statue' sat somewhere near where she flew. Sometimes the stone dragon would hold onto gems, offered up to the skies, as though gifting them to her. The strange courtship lasted many years before the stone dragon's patience paid off and Kai Ishi settled beside the other dragon and hasn't left his side since, leaving the wild lifestyle to their progeny.
