Mint colored dragons are the most peaceful of all dragons; they only eat plants unless they scavenge meat from an already dead animal. They also have no ways to attack others or defend themselves. They are much smaller than other forms of dragons since they only double in size when they mature. Mint dragons are unable to use magic and cannot fly since they lack wings. Their looks have given rise to the common insult of calling dragons “large lizards.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. MintOtter is a witty and fast Mint Dragon. His talents are put to good use, since his species cannot hunt very large game or defend territory well. MintOtter's slick tongue can talk himself out of most situations and if that doesn't work his slick claws can get him away faster than you can say "Oh my! There's a pesky Mint Dragon here, let's drive it out!" Thus you can say that he is quite aptly named.

Like the sleek otter MintOtter has a taste for fish, often visiting Water Dragon OceanNymph for scraps. After fish his second favorite food is cheese, which may explain random disappearances from the cheese hoard of Black Dragon Nightflicker.

MintOtter talks very fast and is quite upbeat overall, not being afraid to stand up for himself. He can defeat other dragons with his wit where his physical body fails him.
