Frilled Dragons are smaller than most other breeds, but when threatened, they stretch out their wings and frills to appear larger. They generally do not like to fight and prefer hiding to confrontation. Frilled dragons live in small groups and often band together to scare off potential threats. Males also use their frills as a way to attract mates, with those displaying the “best” frills being more likely to breed.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Graeme has always loved his "older brother" Gerard, who, biologically speaking, is actually his uncle. But being only a few months apart in age, they played together often, and hated being separated. As they grew they spent more and more time together. Gerard, being slightly older, was the first to begin maturing. Graeme was secretly jealous, partly because Gerard, with greater frills, was better at the sign language they used for secrecy, and partly because he wanted to be just like Gerard. But that ended soon after when Graeme himself began to mature.
The two of them are as close as any two dragons could be, and neither feel the need of a mate. Another male Frilled dragon called Jast joined their duo when he arrived, and the three of them act like they've known each other their whole lives.
At night they perform shadow puppet stories for the hatchlings, and more recently they have begun replay important scenes from that day's battles. Luckily there has been no bad news as of yet.
