Ochredrakes are a curious species with a wide array of mutations and interesting behaviors. Not as intelligent as normal dragons, they only breed with other drake species. While they may not be bright, ochredrakes are flamboyant and fun-loving with amazing, chirping voices to sing with, and tame readily in the presence of a gentle hand.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

Hyperee is an Ochredrake of many moods. One minute she will be angrily scolding her fellow Ochredrakes for bothering her or for being unclean, the next she will be raising hell in the cave where she and some of the others of her species live; bouncing from ceiling to floor to wall and back again. She has limitless amounts of energy and is up for anything so long as it doesn't hurt anyone. Hyperee loves annoying the humans that she lives close to. She will constantly chirp out of tune above their houses until they shout at her to leave them alone, or she will hide around a corner and jump out at them, scaring them witless. Despite this the villagers love her joyful nature and often sit and watch as she plays with the local children, or give Hyperre a scratch behind the ear when she asks for one.
