Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. It was revealed that Gentile Breeze, along with his four companions named Cold Snows, Fading Leaf, Robin's Wings, and Billowing Leaf, are monarchs of a tribe renowned for celebrating the seasons. According to the five Seasonal dragons, a rebellion was instigated in the Seasonals' tribe by a neighboring, hostile tribe, and the four monarchs were forced to escape so there was a chance to preserve peace once the rebellion died down. Gentile Breeze's full name is Grass Swaying in the Warm Gentile Breeze, and he is both the cousin and royal guard of Billowing Leaf, the Queen of Summer, and when she is around, he will ignore his surroundings and only watch her.
