Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. This hatchling seems to be filled with a fell, inner flame.

And look! Its wings have grown, and it’s become bigger, more aggressive, and much hotter.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

AzulFlames is a young female Hellfire Wyvern. Violent and ferocious, she is being groomed to carry on the tradition of domination over other dragons, including males of their breed. She refuses to play with the other hatchlings, believing they are beneath her notice.
