Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Griannor is an arrogant male dragon who loves nothing more than to scare the living daylights out of any unsuspecting races. Humans are his favorite targets and he adores seeing them scamper about as he makes lightning strike their houses and families. He is not above scaring the hatchlings on occasion. His favorite time to mess with the baby dragons is when they first sprout their wings and begin to fly. He will conjure up a huge gusty storm, complete with rain and thunder, and torment them until their mothers or protectors rescue them. But woe to anyone who talks back to Griannor! He holds long and angry grudges and rarely forgives. However, he might be persuaded to leave his prey along if they offer him a few sides of nicely roasted beef.
