Horse Dragons have equine-shaped bodies and hooves instead of claws, which allow them to be fast runners. They specialize in running takeoffs, which are quicker than taking off from a stand-still. Horse dragons are able to stalk their prey from the ground then quickly execute an aerial attack for the kill.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Once while wandering through a quiet, unfamiliar wood, Amaltea spied a magnificent male unicorn sipping from a pool. She stopped, dumbstruck, and stared. Slowly, the unicorn lifted his head, and the small woodland creatures accompanying him drew closer to him, trembling in fear the dragon--who, alas, still had a bit of chipmunk fur from earlier stuck in her teeth. Amaltea noticed a look of judgment and sadness upon the face of this magnificent creature she'd come across, and was flustered. As a dragon, a little hunting was inevitable for her. She spied a fox cowering with a rabbit behind the unicorn, which struck her as somewhat hypocritical; foxes are not known to be vegetarians. Though she longed to know the unicorn better, Amaltea eventually backed away and headed back to the cave, wondering about how to reconcile what she was born to be with what others might expect from her.
