Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Frosthel is a male winter dragon. He is competent in the use of magic, though he does not excel, and he is not possessed of especial mental acuity. He is, however, a very curious dragon, and always seeks to learn more about his surroundings. This makes him invaluable, as does his impressive memory-he is considered an encyclopedia for whenever you need to know about a place. (Or another dragon, he tends to note tendencies, attitudes, moods and subtle emotions very well). <br/>Frosthel has a very noble idea of how the world should work, that all should be honorable. He tends to get upset when this is proven untrue and impossible, but he never would break his code himself. As a character, Frosthel is a kind dragon, despite being one of winter, and appreciates conversation more than most of his brethren. He is a common sight a little ways off the evening bonfires, though he keeps well clear of them.
