Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Ever since it hatched, the sky has been full of very dark clouds.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

This little one was born not too long ago, in a cave where no others may enter. She is small for her age, but friendlier than you might think. She loves being clicked, because it tickles her. She likes being looked at, because it makes her feel special. She is an only dragon. She loves looking for apples, because they are her favorite food. She is scared of dragons bigger than her. She likes being small, and she smells like roses when she's happy, a skunk when angry. Also, she whistles in her sleep, which is very cute because it sounds like a little bird!
