When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
The sad fate of a water dragon is that no matter how powerful he is, he is imprisoned in his water. Magnus will never forget the memory that he, the strongest dragon of the West Rivers, lay on the dry river-bed with dying breath when the enemy blocked the water flow.
'Valerian Magnus' means 'the powerful great one'. It's a name that the arrogant dragon chooses for himself. With his wounded pride, Magnus didn't have a single shred of regret left for his old life when the Dark Sun saved him. Now he leads the marine force of the clan. The flows under their caves form a complicated water web that connects directly to the ocean, giving Magnus the freedom to live up to his name.
Magnus has a secret that he only tells his mate. He loves to bath in milk, the purest mountain goat's milk. The clan's hatchlings all ponder why the underground water turns sweetly white once in a while. Every dragon loves that event, saying it's a gift from their God. Magnus and his mate know better though.
