Gold dragons are the ones most often killed by humans, who consider their scales to be extremely valuable. These golden scales grant them a high level of protection, similar to armor, and they use this to their advantage in battle.

Oooh Shiny is a very vain dragon. As a hatchling, she received much more attention than the other eggs or hatchlings due to her shiny scales, and she still considers herself to be the most beautiful. She is constantly boasting about her 'radiant personality', and always wants to be the center of attention. She is fierce in battle; woe be to the one who scratches one of her scales. She spends much of her time polishing her scales and looking in the mirror.
