Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Midnyte Eclypse plunged into a world of suffering the day he was born. His parents and siblings died when he was very small, and he was forced to live on his own for a good part of his "hatchling-hood." He is truly chiaroscuro (light and dark intertwined). His guardian angel Winterwyte, leader of the Towa clan, found this wayward youngling, and saw through his tough talk and aggression; she looked into his very soul, and saw the scars he had hidden from the world. Winterwyte, despite being so many moons older than him, immediately fell in love with Midnyte. Midnyte is a special dragon, for he hatched on the night of an eclipse. A dragon born at this time will either be incredibly good, or purely evil. Maybe Midnyte would have ended up as type two, if Winterwyte hadn't shed some light in his broken, shattered life. And, by becoming her mate, Midnyte may have just shed some light into her life too.
