It was previously believed that purple dragons were exclusively female, but this is not the case. Recent environmental shifts have revealed the existence of both genders of this breed. Female behavior is well known; they are primarily herbivores but will eat meat during mating season. On the other hand, very little is known about the behavior and habits of male purple dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Secora Seconds deClockhouse (otherwise known as Seconds) is a Purple Dragon. Seconds is absolutely fascinated by time: the concept of it, the units of it, the origin of it, you name it and he wants to know about it. Being male, nobody really knows what male purple dragons lives are like and since he loves time, everyone in the clan assumes that all male purple dragons do. This is false, Seconds explores the concept of time as a hobby and he knows of no other male purple dragon that shares his interests with it.

Seconds is so fascinated by time that everyone in the clan calls him by his nickname Seconds, which derived from when he was just a hatchling. He would always count how many seconds it took to do something, and from that day forward his parents gave him the nickname Seconds. They even call him that today!
