Ochredrakes are a curious species with a wide array of mutations and interesting behaviors. Not as intelligent as normal dragons, they only breed with other drake species. While they may not be bright, ochredrakes are flamboyant and fun-loving with amazing, chirping voices to sing with, and tame readily in the presence of a gentle hand.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

Hajador is one dragon who's curiosity often gets him in trouble.  He once ate a type of fruit called the Cikai Fruit.  Since Cikai Fruit trees grow all around the clan's territory, Hajador wondered why no one was eating it.  He decided to try it, and instantly, the reason why was made apparent.  The fruit was highly toxic.  All Hajador remembered after he ate it was suddenly getting dizzy before blacking out.  He also recalls waking up with Munjak, the leader of the clan, Salish, the clan's doctor, and many other concerned clan members standing over him.  Thanks to Salish's quick reaction time and knowledge on both dragon anatomy and the various plants in the territory, Hajador fully recovered.  Now, Hajador warns the hatchlings not to eat the plants.
