Frilled Dragons are smaller than most other breeds, but when threatened, they stretch out their wings and frills to appear larger. They generally do not like to fight and prefer hiding to confrontation. Frilled dragons live in small groups and often band together to scare off potential threats. Males also use their frills as a way to attract mates, with those displaying the “best” frills being more likely to breed.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

"She from Behind the Veil" is not a name, but a title bestowed upon her when she became the high priestess of the religious sect her clan follows. Her birth name has been wiped from all the official records, as is custom when one rises to this vaunted post. She is believed to have a mystical connection with the gods, which must be preserved by keeping her hidden from all beings behind a veil. This veil is not one of fabric, but one created by noxious steam rising from a crack in the cave that is her domain. She is given to wild ranting, dramatic proclamations, and vivid visions. Her clan believes these to be messages from the gods; the rest of the world believes them to be hallucinations brought on by the strange steam that makes up her "veil".
