Daydream Dragons are the hosts of daydreams and fantasies. They spend the majority of their time sitting on clouds, dropping daydreams down into the minds of people passing by. Humans who live near Daydream Dragons must be especially careful not to let their thoughts wander, or they could end up spending hours or even days in a trance-like waking dream state.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Dream Dell is a friendly dragon. She, like other Daydream dragons, has a short attention span. She is shy to strangers but once somebody gets her to open up, she will become very chatty! Her cloud, which is sentient and very loyal to its owner, emits an aura that makes other people distracted, not Dream Dell, in this case. She often gives sarcastic answers to any question that she thinks is silly and obvious. She can also be a bit annoying to others. She sees the world through rose-coloured glasses and is very optimistic. She has a very fiery and short temper, but she will always be ready to apologize if she is in the wrong. She will defend her friends fiercely if they are being bullied or teased. Instead of breathing out fire, she breathes out wisps of white smoke that can confuse her enemies.
