Hellfire Wyverns are so named for their foul tempers and fiery visages. Their social structure places all females above all males, due to superior physical characteristics and violent dispositions. Forced subservience of the males causes them to become vicious, petty, antisocial, and passive-aggressive compared to the aggressive and social females. However, orphaned hatchlings raised by foster parents of another species can develop surprisingly even tempers and mellow dispositions, proving that their defining unpleasant nature is, in fact, a learned behavior.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Torch's hatching was a sacred day for the dragons of the volcano, the great celebration for the birth of the first heir of Sulphurno Clan. 'She' would be strong, powerful and great. Only 'she' wasn't a she at all.

Weeks later, Torch gained his orange fire, and his true gender was revealed. This bought great shame to the Sulphurno Clan.

He was hastily banished to the scorched woodlands at the base of the volcano, to live out his days with the other low-status males.

Torch grew into a small, yet nimble, male who would woo the heart of Arinitti, a nomadic female with low standards and an unwillingness to eat him. The pair would form a little dynasty of their own, Sulphurno in name only, as Torch's children are not nearly as violent as the clan that spawned their father.

These days, Torch thinks little of his old vicious clan on their mountain top. He is content to live his own life serving the mate he chose. He is, and will always be, Torch Sulphurno, unapologetically himself.
