Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Luck is pristine, mystical, and magical in nature. She acts very queenly, strutting about with her perfectly groomed silver scales. She takes great care and attention to look her best and appear presentable, even in sleep. She is extremely intelligent and wise. There's no sense of jadedness to her, she seems genuine in her regal bearing. Luck is very patient with others. She'll listen to what others tell her and internalize it well. Even minute details are captured, and plenty are surprised when she makes careful reference to them. Though kind at heart, Luck is not the most expressive dragon. Quite the opposite, actually, she shows hardly any emotion at all. Whether this is by choice or not is up for debate, but she always wears a stone expression, even in times when strong emotion is warranted. It's pretty unnerving how fiercely she sticks to this mask. She never laughs, cries, or shows any mode of anger. This has led to some theorizing that she's sociopathic.
