Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

A Little Holiday Spirit has only recently discovered his true Christmas self.  As a hatchling, he knew he was coveted; this went right to his head, and made him believe that every other dragon and human were beneath him.  Consistently spurning his younger brother's efforts to gain his affection, it wasn't until little Yule Song vanished from the home cave that Spirit began to understand his own position and purpose in life.  Finally listening to his siblings blunt words of truth pertaining to his attitude, he searched for many days until he found his brother, nearly dead.  Holiday Spirit is currently the most positively energetic and joyous dragon in his clan, and a day never passes where he doesn't show Yule Song his devotion to him.
