Electric Dragons wield electricity with great prowess. Bright sparks race across these dragons’ bodies in a dazzling dance of light, complemented by the blindingly radiant sparks on their tails. Using their bellies and manes as stores for this electrical energy, Electric Dragons wield crackling magic, stunning and electrocuting their prey with a whip of their tail. During mating season it is typically those with the most brilliant sparks—an indicator of strength and hunting ability—that are drawn to each other.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Rishante is probably the most aggressive dragon of the clan. He lives on the mountain with a few of the other dragons, but will come down occasionally. He will charge without warning at any dragon acting out of line, especially dragons who he thinks are "invading clan territory". Thankfully, Ombra De Morte, a black dragon, is usually the first to reach anybody entering clan territory.

Rishante is the second electric dragon of the clan, but still sees himself above Ilvyra, the first. She, of course, often challenges his abilities, but he claims that he doesn't want to waste his time with her. Rishante is a mysterious dragon, even to the other mountain-dwellers, and especially to the hatchlings. They tell stories amongst themselves, and has therefore earned quite a reputation.
