Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It blends into the snow.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Aurora the Refridgerator, who would prefer to be called Aurora, is a certified therapy dragon and loves children. Every Friday, she visits hatchling schools and stays in the same class most of the school day. She is very playful and energetic, but since she's usually at the dragon daycare the preceding Thursday, she's often exhausted and sleeps most of the day. Her tail is very destructive when she wags it, hitting students in the leg oftentimes (although it doesn't really hurt much). Her favorite snack is paper, especially students' assignments.

One Friday, Aurora ate a teacher's apple right off the desk, but of course she got away with it since she's so cute. Aurora also likes jumping on students' laps, either to lick them or to steal a snack.
