Daydream Dragons are the hosts of daydreams and fantasies. They spend the majority of their time sitting on clouds, dropping daydreams down into the minds of people passing by. Humans who live near Daydream Dragons must be especially careful not to let their thoughts wander, or they could end up spending hours or even days in a trance-like waking dream state.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Duoy is an extremely friendly Dragon. She tends to lurk a lot closer to humans than many of her Daydream Dragon counterparts. She finds a nice home in a bank of warm fog, usually close to the houses of those humans she likes so much. While they rest, socializing or playing in their tiny homes, she'll spit in her warm fantasies and peaceful ideals. Humans she has chosen to shadow generally tend to become pacifists. Only once was she discovered in a particularly vicious human camp, and promptly driven away. Upon her return to the same spot, she found the entire camp burned to the ground. Despite their previous destruction and hostility, she could not find it in her heart to be vengeful, instead, placing a blessing on the ground before she departed.
