Horse Dragons have equine-shaped bodies and hooves instead of claws, which allow them to be fast runners. They specialize in running takeoffs, which are quicker than taking off from a stand-still. Horse dragons are able to stalk their prey from the ground then quickly execute an aerial attack for the kill.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Sleipnir BlurHooves is a warrior dragon. Named after an ancient myth from the north, he takes great pride in his first name and surname. His surname relates to an older line of Horse Dragons, of course relating to speed and agility. Sleipnir is currently in the care of a Dark Myst Pygmy named Koalumina. In a recent skurmish of territory with another dragon he sustained minor injuries. He didn't think that these injuries would be deadly so he let them be, and a few days later they were infected and swelling up. Not wanting his career as a warrior to end, he went to the best healer he could find in his jungle home and found Koalumina. Now Sleipnir recovers, and plans to go back adventuring as soon as he can.
