Melismor Dragons are social, good-natured dragons that enjoy the shelter of forested areas. They live in close-knit family groups, burrowing deep into the earth and creating extensive, winding networks of underground burrows. While rarely seen at the surface, Melismor Dragons, when encountered, are known to be fiercely loyal and protective, yet kind when their families aren’t in any danger. These dragons are omnivorous, but most of their diet consists of plants, especially tender roots, and honey is a favored treat they’ll often bring back to their burrows to share.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Martel was born to dig more than tunnels and burrows in the dirt. From a young age she became increasingly fascinated with the many types of precious stones and ores found within the earth.

Finding more stones to add to her collection is Martel's most beloved pursuit. She has no interest in jewelry or refined stones and prefers to keep them in their rough, natural state.

Her collection lines the walls of her earthen home, neatly organized in the order that she found her pieces. While it might have made sense to put the ores apart from the gems, and the gems apart from the fossils, Martel prefers it this way so that she might take a walk through her memories a little easier.

This collection is Martel's pride and joy. Ask her about it at your own risk, as she will gladly ramble on for hours like a proud mother would.
